The photo to the right is an example of a presentation consisting of 3 simultaneously running videos. A pair of joined projections, each of the 7' tall x 10' wide screens fill half the gallery with a visualization of each narrative. In the other half the gallery, the fragments author appears as an apparition (through use of a Pepper's Ghost technique) amid mounds of fragments and the rubble of the Geniza cross-section.

 

Making use of 3 DVD players linked through a sequencer, the presentation begins when visitors trigger the motion detector. Vibrant wall projections are produced through the use of ceiling mounted LCD projectors. The Pepper's Ghost is given a life-like presence by use of an oversize 36" monitor.
